The experiment

A reminder of who we are, and what we really enjoy and need.

No Phones Fest is a gathering without phones, without feeds, without addictive algorithms running the show. Music is live. Food is shared. Time is slow on purpose.

We are not anti-technology. We are pro-presence. For a few days the only notifications are a fire, a laugh, a song starting, someone saying your name.

How we stay human

Four promises. No terms of service. No update later.

    Phones stay in the box

    Every device is checked at the gate. Not hidden in a pocket. Not on airplane mode. Out of your hands.

    No feeds run the night

    No infinite scroll. No ranking. No machine deciding who you should look at. The room is the algorithm.

  3. 03

    Talk to the person next to you

    Strangers, friends, the quiet ones. Eye contact is the entire social network.

  4. 04

    Boredom is the point

    If you feel the itch to check something, stay with it. That itch is the thing we came here to remember.
